While I personally have no issue with this, the fact remains that Apple has, for some reason, not put out an iTunes client for Linux distros.This can be a huge headache for iPhone users who want to use a Linux desktop, because it’s not possible to sync iPhones with Linux distros like Ubuntu.

Jun 14, 2015 · Apple has not announced any plans to create a version of iTunes for Linux. Whether they will ever do so is something none of us here can say, though with the very small overall marketshare of Linux on the desktop, it seems to me unlikely in the foreseeable future.
