Sep 25, 2014 · One is an i3, the other an 7. The i3 has integrated Intel graphics (HD 3000), the i7 a dedicated Radeon card (6650m). All the hardware build in in both laptops is fully supported. The i3 runs LMDE while the i7 runs Mint 17.
