Dec 31, 2017 · In Linux there is Evolution and Thunderbird for email, contacts and calendar. Evolution supports Exchange through a native EWS plugin, while Thunderbird has no native support for Exchange. for aesthetic reasons I don’t like Evolution ( I think Evolution is way overdue for a face-lift ) so Thunderbird is my preferred email client.

Mar 12, 2016 · I've never actually connected to Exchange from a Linux client (I'm not on Exchange), but if you are only using the email part of exchange you can ask the admin if they have Exchange configured for imap or pop3. Otherwise, any application that supports ActiveSync should work.

Mar 22, 2010 · Fortunately, this isn't terribly difficult; it requires little more than adding an IMAP virtual server to Exchange and configuring client support for it. Setting it up and managing is similar in Exchange 2007 (and 2010) as well. Once this is done, most any Linux mail client that speaks IMAP can be configured to talk to Exchange.
