I own a wrt54g2 v1 withlatest firmware. Does this model support SNMP? When I run a portscan on router, SNMP port is closed and on router settings page, there is no option to enable SNMP. However, various sites claim it does have SNMP v1 and v2c support.\\ Can someone help?

The router's official firmware does not support SNMP. A 3rd party firmware may get this going on your E3000. Keep in mind though that installing a 3rd party software will render the hardware warranty void.
