Hi, I upgraded my comcast internet to 105 MBPS down. On LAN I get nearly 95 down, but on wifi it maxs at 30. I checked this both on my laptop and Iphone 6. My firmware is 1.00.06 and set the router to N only at both 2.4 and 5 Ghz. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Oct 18, 2017 · I have been using my E3000 as a wireless bridge by using the dd-wrt firmware on the router. It worked great for several years connecting my non-wireless devices on the first floor to the router on the second floor but my router has unfortunately died this week for unknown reasons (guessing something on the board must have gone bad).

Hmm, not sure how to answer your question without a looong conplicated answer, which I don't have time for right now. Suffice it to say that, just like with IPv4, the router lets you make decisions about how you setup the addressing in your LAN environment, including setting an useable address range.
