Yep works with iPad just the same :) just re-reading my instructions though, steps 2 and 3 are basically to do with finding the relevant simulator binary, so I guess I didn't realise at the time but you need to have the simulator (iPhone or iPad as required) set as the build target (so it compiles an Intel/x86 binary) for the steps to work.

In short, for example navigate to the path as following “ Library->Application Support->iPhone Simulator->7.0->Applications->” and paste your application folder here. If you have the .app file of the application that is to be installed, place it in a folder and copy it to the Applications folder, or else get the .ipa file of the application and right click on it.

May 25, 2011 · You can run the Simulator by itself (without starting XCode). If you start the Simulator, delete an app, quit the Simulator, put back copies of the files that were deleted from the support directory, and restart the Simulator, the app will reappear in the Simulator.
