Oct 17, 2017 · Is there a way to reset Xcode so that it doesn't know there is such a plugin. So far I have tried re-install Xcode, delete all the reference data. They didn't work.

Feb 18, 2014 · Now, I have 2 versions of XCode installed, 3 and 4, but I know that Developer directory is for 4 as XCode 3 installed to Developer3.2.6 folder. I'm putting the plugin in the Harddisk -> Library -> Application Support -> Developer -> Shared -> XCode -> Plug-ins folder.

In the user Library, there is a Developer folder with about 3.2 GB of space (2.8GB from DocSets and the rest mainly from Xcode/iOS DeviceSupport). I had Xcode installed, I presume these are from that? I no longer use Xcode, is there any downside to erasing these folders? If I install Xcode again wouldn't it restore what is needed?
