OSSv4.1 tries to install a fitting libflashsupport automatically. However, some distros prefer removing libflashsupport from the package, using a separate package for it. getting libflashsupport. Debian/Ubuntu: Do not install libflashsupport package from apt-get. That packages only supports Pulseaudio, and should be removed if you have it.

We both are not a member of the Audio Group. Deleting ~/.pulse from both accounts has no effect on this behaviour.. The issue started in 9.10 Karmic and continued to be there even after an upgrade to 10.04 Lucid LTS. This indicates that some erroneous settings survived the upgrades.

Mar 12, 2009 · I'm tried adobe-flash-plugin and ns-flash in firefox3 and neither produce any sound output with libflashsupport-pulse, but both see to work fine with libflashsupport. This is netbsd-5 i386, latest pkgsrc and everything built with PKG_DEFAULT_OPTIONS=pulseaudio Is anyone else seeing similar?

Nov 15, 2007 · This is what removing pulseaudio, also wants to remove as deps. akode akode-pulseaudio alsa-plugins-pulseaudio gstreamer-plugins-pulse kde-settings-pulseaudio kdemultidedia (thats a bad one) kdemultimedia-libs (another bad one) libflashsupport (probably bad also) pavucontrol (no idea what that is) OK.
