OSSv4.1 tries to install a fitting libflashsupport automatically. However, some distros prefer removing libflashsupport from the package, using a separate package for it. getting libflashsupport. Debian/Ubuntu: Do not install libflashsupport package from apt-get. That packages only supports Pulseaudio, and should be removed if you have it.

Feb 16, 2017 · I deleted makefile without success so I deleted the libflashsupport-jack folder, that didn't work so I restored it. In the Audio tab of the JACK connection box [flash out 1&2] are connected to [system playback 1&2], my Audiophile sound card isn't there (it is, under the ALSA tab).

Apr 29, 2010 · If jack restarts, it means that jack has shut down. So all clients were destroyed on the way. The application becomes an "orphane" in that respect (if its non-jack parts survived the jack shutdown). If it does not have a mechanism that allows it to survive a collapse of the jack graph, there's no way it can reconnect after jack comes back to life.
