On Lubuntu Artful Aardvark I have no problem with playing videos by making use of VLC 2.2.6. However I would like to use the built-in Chromecast option of the 3.0.1 version. VLC is unable to read the DVD even with dvdsimple. This affects homemade DVD's with just VIDEO_TS folder but also regular movie DVD. 0.9.7/1.0.0 will fail to open DVD: libdvdnav: Using dvdnav version 4.1.3 libdvdread: Encrypted DVD support unavailable.
