Apr 08, 2005 · With some BIOS's there's a setting to either enable or disable "legacy USB support". What does that mean? Is it related to USB1.1 vs. USB2? Is it related to PnP (plug and play)? I've always read that, for running Linux, I'm supposed to disable PnP (that is, answer "no" to the question in the BIOS, "Is OS Plug-and-play aware?"), so that's what I do.
