Jun 03, 2016 · Kontakt 5 Multiprocessor Support in SPlat So, I have a couple of questions regarding the "multiprocessor support" option in Kontakt 5. From my understanding, when using Kontakt 5 as a plugin within a host, having multiprocessor support on can conflict with the host's processing.

On other systems leaving the default Multiprocessor setting of 4-cores seems to work better. Since Multiprocessing support was added to Kontakt a few versions ago, I've always left it set to the default. Also, I've always set ASIO Guard to High and haven't had any problems with Kontakt 6.
