Apr 12, 2007 · As our plans for going to Jeep Jamboree this year start to look more promising I started to prepare our ZJ to this (I hope) demanding task. First things first – we need some recovery gear. So I ordered strong radiator support form Kevin’s Off Road Below is small howto. Unscrew 3 bolts keeping grill in place and take it out:

Picked up some JKS quick disconnects for the front, Kevins Offroad Radiator support and used some upper control arms from a JK to push the axle back in the rear. I am down to the last few little things and hopefully this old girl will be running by end of the weekend or mid week at the latest. Thanks for looking!

Kevins ZJ tow point is probably the better choice for ZJ owners who plan to wheel hard offroad. Shackles allow for securing the vehicle better and can be disconnected even with tension on the snatch rope if it's required. Aug 25, 2010 · Front radiator hangs super low. Like below the front bumper low. Plan on adding a skid like kevins offroad has. The computer is insane, its like aol, it controls everything. Its a bear to get around the vss speedo system and without it, the traction control gets pissed.
