Jun 19, 2018 · WAP protocol support 1.1 will be upgraded to 1.2.1 to support MMS proxy/serer extensions using Kannel as WAP gateway. There are a couple of available patches pending for the development branch, see the STATUS file. Kannel version 1.1.6 - development version (28 March 2002) This is a DEVELOPMENT version.

Kannel is being developed on Linux systems, and should be fairly easy to export to other Unix-like systems. However, we don't yet support other platforms, due to lack of time, although it should be working without major problems on Windows (through Cygwin), Solaris and FreeBSD. "MMS Version" is toward the bottom. Changing the MMS version to 1.2 will probably fix this issue. MMS 1.2 added a read report format that included the original message ID (Message-type m-read-rec-ind instead of m-retrieve-conf). If the client (or operator MMSC) does not support MMS 1.2, you will still not get this format. -- Des NowSMS Support

Aug 03, 2016 · Modem which will be used with Kannel should support ‘AT+CNMI’ command otherwise modem will not work with Kannel. We can check if our modem is detected or not by this command > ls /dev . If modem is being detected then we will see ttyACM0 / ttyUSB0 in result. ... enable-mms = true. message-storage=”SM” ...
