I visited JXL api and it seems that they are not providing support for xlsx format. So I changed my api to Apche POI 3.9. It has good functionality for xlsx/xls processing.

Mar 27, 2015 · as mentioned this is not really about webdynpro but about the limitations of the JXL API (that is not an sap product) and the format of XLS. Apparently JXL is supporting only XLS (not XLSX) and in XLS there is a limitation to 256 columns. See some other threads in other forums:
