The Red Lion Group is a UK pouch support charity for people who have, or are considering having, an ileo-anal pouch. The pouch support group was founded in 1994 by a group of patients and staff at St. Mark’s Hospital in London and gained charitable status in 1997.

Being tapered off of steroids may make you feel depressed or not in control of your emotions. Sharing your feelings with your family, doctor and nurses will help you recover. After leaving the hospital, it is recommended that you join a support group with other people who have undergone a similar experience.

May 31, 2016 · It's a private group so admin will add you and since its private, nothing appears on your personal FB page. By far the best support group of people. Over 3000 members. It's the same administrator as the Jpouch.org forum but you get in touch with people and answers much faster.
