This message is created by Axis, and occurs when trying to invoke methods from a web service which is associated with attachments. To invoke methods in a web service associated with attachments you need to add the relevant 3rd party libraries / JAR files in the classpath (e.g. mail.jar and activation.jar).

Mar 09, 2007 · It seems that the way to do this is using DIME attachments, supported by both Apache Axis on Java side and .NET. In order to test the message creation, I used a prototype that send a SOAP request for a .NET web service and display the result, adding some code to create the DIME attachments.

May 24, 2007 · What does the WSDL you are trying to consume look like. It could be that the Telelogic Web Service you are trying to consume has attachments defined differently (or somewhat strangely).

The wsdl was created using AXIS. When I try to invoke it using my java code, I am getting null values from the service response.
