Jul 20, 2008 · Hi Basically series 40 phones dont have OS(N-Gage is exception) so by embeded firmware application treats that .jar file as ordinary message. In series 60 phones have Symbian OS so, OS recoginze that file as Application Installer file and at the time of accessing jar it will invoke installer.
