Oracle had a point. AIX and Solaris never made it to Itanium, Red Hat Enterprise Linux was pulled off the platform in December 2009, and Microsoft pulled the plug on Windows Server and SQL Server in April 2010. But just the same, Oracle lost the suit and rebooted its support on HP-UX Unix on Itanium.
