The advice given to them should pertain to you as well: Disable graphics switching in the system preferences or by using the tool "gfxCardStatus" to help prevent this behavior, and possibly get the system services to replace the logic board, though this will be an expensive fix.

    Apr 02, 2015 · The only way to make it disappear from Graphics/Displays is by deleting IONDRVSupport.kext but then audio it's not working anymore (kext not loading).I attached some screenshots with loaded kexts before and after delete. For brightness I tried :-Brightness fix (Slider shows in Display preferences but does nothing)

    First, back up everything. Second, format the disk and reinstall Yosemite. Restore from your time machine backup. If the problem persists, you have a hardware failure and should take it in to apple.

    It appears that my GPU has the known issue as other Macs that are from the same year. I can only reproduce the crash with Final Cut Pro or iMovie.
