Jun 11, 2008 · I just tried both versions: a html version and a xhtml version: the HTML version doesn't give any problems (and that's what I use), the xHTML version gives loads of errors. I can imagine the wicket attributes etc are not in the DTD causing IntelliJ to mark it as red. No idea if it's a feature or a bug, but I do encounter the same behaviour. Erik

But IntelliJ says that "xmln:wicket" is not allowed here (even though IntelliJ put it there, using an intention. So I was wondering:is it possible to autocomplete wicket HTML tags (like wicket:extend, wicket:child, wicket:id, etc?) Thanks, Erik PS: I did use the Wicket plugin, which is nice, but it still doesn't allow me to code complete.

We only recently transitioned from Eclipse to IDEA and it's getting really annoying having to deal with warnings all over our html files about wicket "wicket:id" or "wicket:for" or other tags from wicket. In addition to this we also get "Attribute wicket:id is not allowed here" messages all over our tags.

Sep 23, 2014 · Thymeleaf and Wicket, whilst having similar syntaxes for templating, do not belong to the same category of technologies. Wicket is a web framework (like Struts or SpringMvc) but Thymeleaf is a web technology (like JSP, Velocity or Freemarker). Anyway, the IntelliJ IDEA support for Thymeleaf is impressive. Regards, Zemi
