Jan 23, 2011 · Correct, the 2100 card does not support WPA2 encryption. If you absolutely need WPA2, you will need to upgrade to a newer card that supports it. I believe that the 2300 series of Intel's wireless cards do and ever card made after that.

Sep 04, 2004 · Hi I have a Gateway Centrino laptop with the Intel PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B adapter. Now I can get onto the unsecured wireless network of my neighbour, but I can' get onto the WPA-psk network of my Linksys wireless-g router. My roomate's laptop works with it though. I called Gateway and they said I should install XP sp2 (which I did), but Gateway does not officially support WPA.
