I know I am able to claim income support during the summer as a single parent but when can I actually apply. My classes finished end of April. I've had to use my ML to pay my fees as I have a level 4 so money is very tight.

Over the summer you can have income support because your loan isn't meant to support you I must say if you dont take the special support grant and took the maintenance grant instead they would count that income but they dont count the special support grant so apply for that.
