Aug 08, 2007 · Heh. Apple is usually so good about supporting old hardware this really surprises me. After hearing about how dramatic some of the changes are from iMovie 07 to 08 and now the drop of G4 support (and even some G5 machines that aren't that old) I'm really starting to think they should have added it as a new app to iLife.

Jan 31, 2008 · I've got a GS320 as well. It doesn't import in iMovie 6. I can connect and use iMovie to play what I've taped directly on the camera screen, but the iMovie screen remains blue and fails to import any clips. I'm hoping once I upgrade to iMovie 8 this problem might go away, but looking at support, it doesn't appear to be that way.

    https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/imovie-09-hd-support.629644/
Jan 28, 2009 · Hi, Why won't they add HD support (not AVCHD) for iMovie '09? I know this topic was probably beaten to death when iMovie '08 was released, but it seems like it would be a logical thing to do, especially since many camcorders are HD nowadays. I'd love to be able to use my Canon HV30 in...
