The <canvas> tag should having a corresponding closing tag </canvas>. While some browsers will let you get by with just an opening tag, others (such as Firefox, and perhaps IE) won't. Apr 30, 2011 · I get the suggestion to upgrade my browser to IE9 or to install IE10 Platform Preview 1. But I have already installed IE9 RTM with the feature hardware acceleration activated. My Video card is an ATI Radeon HD 5450 which is DX11 and allows for hardware acceleration. I do not know what the problem might be.

Dec 12, 2017 · Every time Internet Explorer shows you a site within the compatability mode, it will show you (on the right side of the URL) the torn paper icon, to let you know it is in compatability mode. In my case, however, it did not show that icon so I automaticly assumed, that it shows the site correctly, that's why it was the last thing to check.
