Aug 29, 2019 · Does this mean Microsoft is changing the Lifecycle Policy for Internet Explorer? What happens if customers did not move to the latest browser by the end of support on January 12, 2016? What if my enterprise line-of-business (LOB) application has a dependency on a version of Internet Explorer that reached end of support on January 12, 2016?

Apr 09, 2019 · What is the mainstream and extended support end date for Windows Internet Explorer 8? The Microsoft Product Lifecycle Search states, "Releases known as Components follow the Support Lifecycle of their parent Major Product."I cannot find a reference to the parent and presume it's Windows XP SP3, however I believe Windows 7 Professional was origanally released with IE8.

Aug 01, 2015 · In relation to IE8, I think we must publish maintenance releases of riot 2.x with the IE8 support already existent, and release a 3.0 version with new characteristics (e.g. normalized touch events), no support for IE8 at all, and the needed breaking changes.

Mar 30, 2012 · Does anyone know when support for Internet Explorer 8 ends? Will that end in April, 2014, along with XP, or will it continue to be supported? I can't seem to find any literature on this from Microsoft, so if anyone has any, I'd appreciate it!
