If I switch your code to .wrapInner(), it works for me in this jsFiddle in IE9 and in IE9 in IE8 and IE7 emulation mode. I don't have the actual IE7 available to try here, so perhaps part of the issue is the partial support in IE7 for the button tag.

I just tested the form on IE7 live emulator, the problem seems to be that you did not change the button style to the standard button as Pinoytech advised to you above. I made a clone and I also, added !important declaration to your CSS custom code at the end of each value, in order to force the browser to render the desired effect
