In openstack a virtual machine spawns in compute node where hypervisor and compute services will be running. The type 1 hypervisor sits on top of hardware layer. Does openstack supports type1 hypervisors ? If so, how does it supports it. I am thinking that there were no compute services running on that node, how can the controller node communicates with the node for instantiating a VM ?
