    I was diagnosed with idiopathic hypersomnia earlier this year. My doctor prescribed concerta and it works great. I have an alarm set for 6:30 when I take it and go back to bed. My next alarm goes off at 7:00 and more times than not I am ready to get up. I rarely feel tired during the day and no longer take naps.
