So that statement means what XMP will support is dependent on the exact actual CPU installed. I haven't seen any explanation of what exactly the XMP support relies upon.

Hyper Dimm support? XMP? Nub here. I've been looking at a motherboard recently and noticed it having "Hyper DIMM support" while on Dual Channel Memory architecture. Anyone know what this means? Is it, or how is it related to XMP and RAM? Would using up all the DIMM slots on a Dual Channel motherboard affect system performance with this setting?
