so i have a HTC S640, and just a few hours ago, i had my internet open, and was checking my email at the same time, when all of a sudden it froze, so of course after about a minute i just took the battery out and tried to restart it. but when i tried to turn it back on a screen with a red, greed, blue and then white horizontal bars came up, reading (in yellow font)

Jan 18, 2009 · If someone could point me in the direction for the GPS workaround for the HTC S640, that would be most appreciated. I have had the S640 running GPS flawlessly before - via Google Maps and Live Search, but had to do a complete reset due to an unrelated software problem. Cant recall if I had to use QPST or not, but I do have it, along with GPS Test and GPSID.
