The drives for the autoloader are identical to the HH drives for the libraries. The full height drives obviously won't fit in the autoloader. It won't impact your autoloader support at all. The HP warranty on the autoloader is untouched and the drive upgrade will have a completely new warranty.

Hi all, I have a problem with a 1/8 G2 autoloader. How can I determine if the autoloader does have the barcode reader installed or not? Our problem is the very long time it takes to inventory the media each time we change one of the libraries, so it would be *much* better if the unit would simply scan the barcodes and thus perform a "quick inventory" instead of the normal (slow) inventory.
