Jan 28, 2008 · The best vision is a merge of the two existing versions (Asus - NonAsus) with acceptable support of HD-DVD (I don't insist on LPCM or HD-bitstream but Standard-Audio-Features like decoding and Output over analog and bitstream of DD and DTS over S/PDIF and HDMI should work). Please don't snub your customers in this matter!!

Mar 09, 2009 · The HDDVD does not indicate "passthrough" as BDs do to achieve bitstreaming. Let me try now. No different setting to 192 in any audio output. On the end of box under Software Utility? On the back it's up to 192 khz and includes all in ( ) which are usually 48/96 khz. I know that one of these systems will have retail.

Mar 28, 2008 · That will be stupid to pull HDDVD support as it is a set specification. It is only a matter of keeping it in the application to playback currently released titles (as there will be no future titles released once the studios get through their already announced schedule).
