Feb 02, 2014 · i agree: the child only has one loser parent, and it's NOT you. You can ALWAYS come here and talk to us. I have no family and the father of my child is not around either. I also fear giving birth alone and having to drive myself to the hospital. Talk to a therapist or maybe join a support group of single moms who may be able to help you.

Mar 10, 2015 · My Mum lives nearby but has recently recovered from Cancer and so most of the time we're helping her with things. I once mentioned it to my Midwife that I missed having family around to help me and her reply was 'you chose to have a baby, you shouldnt expect help from anybody'.!!!!!
