If you vim supports Python, you should see +python and/or +python3 in the output. If you see -python / -python3 then you aren't actually using a version of Vim that's compiled with Python support. Also, Vim can dynamically link to Python (instead of getting directly compiled with it). The symbols for that would be +dyn/python and +dyn/python3.
