    Hi there, to answer your question I would say you are going to be OK. I have an iPhone 6 with Verizon as well, and one of my friends borrowed me one SIM card from "Claro" which is a phone service provider in Colombia, and as soon as I changed my Verizon chip to the one from Claro it immediately recognized the server and changed to Claro on my screen.
