Nov 24, 2017 · 1. Upgraded to Windows 10 (from Win 7) about a month or two after Win 10 free upgrade became available. 2. The graphics card is ATI Radeon 3000, the resolution is 1920x1080. it has been running fine until a week or so ago.

Nov 24, 2017 · It just went back to 1920x1080 all by itself! ... Edit: I was finally able to roll back the graphics card driver and reset the resolution to 1920x1080. ... PC like three weeks ago when MS pushed the AMD driver version 23.20.780.2. A really dumb move since this driver doesn't support legacy cards.

May 18, 2016 · I have attempted to update my device driver but Windows says it is up to date. I have an ATI Radeon HD 4600 graphics card but installing Windows 8 drivers from AMD fails. Running under Ubuntu gives full 1920x1080 resolution so there's no problem with the hardware. Any ideas? If this persists, I will have to revert to Windows 8.1.
