The game manages to blend just the right amounts of combat, NPC interaction, character development, exploration and epic, save-the-world storytelling into the sort of potion that your typical beardie will gulp down with wild-eyed abandon.

Jan 17, 2010 · If you buy Gothic 3 then whatever you do, install the community mod and crank all the sliders over to the max. Also, I had a second look at Risen tonight - do you know, I think that Gothic 3, with the community mod, might actually be better looking? Gothic 3 is a lot better than what I had originally thought.

Dec 21, 2006 · Also, to be clear - the memory will definitely help, and there’s a bunch of cache tricks that are worthwhile which you can find in the worldofgothic forums ---- but Gothic 3 will still perform badly on your system, because of your video card (which is the bare minimum for the game) and CPU.
