Sep 09, 2009 · Wondering if anyone knows Google's intentions about iCal support in Snow Leopard. Specifically, since Snow Leopard will interface with Exchange Server (such as in iCal), I am hoping I could easily subscribe to my calendars via Exchange.

Sep 08, 2009 · What I can guarantee you is that the Exchange setup on Snow Leopard is not the way to interact with Google for contacts, etc. For contacts, go to preferences/accounts in Address Book, and click "synchronize with Google" and fill out the info. In iCal, go to preferences, add an account, select Google, and follow the prompts.

Oct 10, 2009 · Google uses Exchange ActiveSync to communicate w/ the iPhone. Snow Leopard Exchange support is implemented using Exchange Web Services, which is a separate protocol, I think.

Safari on Snow Leopard is too outdated and many pages refuse to work (like youtube). Chrome does not work (I've tried it), despite Google claiming on their page that it should work on 10.6.8. I've tried a number of other alternative browsers like Vivaldi, Midori, Pale Moon, QupZilla, Opera etc. and none of them support Snow Leopard.
