    Jun 06, 2015 · Posted: Fri Jun 05, 2015 10:58 pm Post subject: iwlist says "Interface doesn't support scanning" Hello all, this is my first post here (actually my first post anywhere with a Gentoo box ) I've been enjoying Gentoo for a few days now and after some tinkering I have wifi working on my laptop using wpa_supplicant and dhcpcd.

Could it have anything to do with the fact that it's a G router, wich is a recent technology? My card: 801.11g, Belkin, F5D7000 I did setup the ESSID properly, so it surely has nothing to do with that.
