Feb 02, 2011 · v4l-info says "open /dev/video0: no such file or directory" yet when I google I find information saying both that the m1530 webcam works with skype, and that the ov2640 chipset is supported, so I hope I can get it working. What am I missing?

Dec 18, 2018 · which is assigned to /dev/video0 on boot since I load the v4l2 driver on boot ls /dev/v4l/by-id/ -lh ... It says there is no device at /dev/video0. v4l2 /dev/video0 (Elgato Cam Link) stops working after a while So I was running this FFMPEG command with Windows to stream the input from a HDMI capture card (Cam Link, UVC compatible) as UDP.. It was working nicely for at least 24hrs.

This is important because else the video1394 is written as /dev/v4l/video0 and /dev/v4l/video1 , which the first two vloopback-devices also are called. Now you can load the modules. modprobe video1394 modprobe vloopback Start up coriander, find a format in the services tab that works, and start v4l.
