Jun 25, 2008 · Recently my computer was reformatted due to many viruses. I lost the CD for my printer which is a HP laserjet 1010. Everytime I turn on the computer I get a "found new hardware" window and when I try to program the printer it keeps telling me that i need the software for "Generic IEEE 1282.2 printing support.
