Jan 12, 2016 · I've got a problem with an old GE Fanuc 90-30 PLC; I need to replace the old plc but i want to maintain the old wiring so i dont need to rewiring everyting again. I want to replace the old ge fanuc 331 cpu with the IC693PBS201 slave profibus module in order to read the input with a new siemens cpu in a new plc rack.

Sep 04, 2001 · If you have a copy of GE Fanuc's CIMPLICITY HMI 5.0 or greater, it can autodetect the baud rate of the 90-30 serial port using the SNP protocol you can then look at the port configuration in CIMPLICITY to extract the comm settings, plug those into versapro and go.
