Jul 19, 2018 · I lost my husband of 40 years to GBM in 2012. I was his primary caregiver, and wouldn't have had it any other way. Our journey through GBM only lasted 11 months. I somehow managed to put me on the back burner during that time, focusing on him. I was able to tell him I loved him every day, something I wasn't too good at before his illness.
