Jan 15, 2007 · SLI does not require any app to specifically have support for it. Basically to the app an SLI system just looks like a really fast video card. Having said that, FSX is so heavily dependent on the CPU that SLI does very little to help it.

Dec 20, 2014 · And most FSX code was desigtned to be backwards compatible with even older versions of FS. So while technically not impossible to get SLI working, I really really really really doubt it will ever happen for FSX. Licensing might be an issue that prevents this work in any case.

Aug 21, 2011 · To use Nvidia surround mode, SLI is a however a requirement. The good thing is that in this scenario it doesn't matter that FSX doesn't have any SLI support since the surround mode is handled by the operating system, not the application (FSX). So when using Nvidia surround mode, FSX does indeed benefit from SLI.

May 16, 2012 · Microsoft Flight Simulator X is an older game, which basically supports SLI, but doesn't work 100%. SLI breaks in some situations and we did some work to find out in which situations. First of all, this is the origial thread on AVSIM that I started today, and some results from a fellow simmer on double GTX580 cards.

FlyInside FSX does not support SLI, but FlyInside P3D does. If you have FlyInside P3D, SLI will allow you to increase your resolution and MSAA levels, for a smoother and crisper experience.

May 29, 2007 · As I said on my blog, ages ago, its not that FSX doesnt support SLI. Its more that because FSX RTM was so CPU-bound SLI didnt matter until 25x16 and 16xAA. SP1 should be more SLI friendly, but even there given we are still somewhat CPU limited its probably just going to start helping at 19x12 or 16x12. Review sites have corroborated this.
