Jun 29, 2018 · True, if you are reading/writing to all 4 disks at once you'll saturate the link. An x4 version would be better. Or just the dual-port card. Didn't notice the 4-port card was also an x1. Edit: there's an x2 version of the 4-port card, but the price jumps to just under $60. Guess you get what you pay for.
