This is a long time problem, like 9 years ago one of the first ticket was opened to bugzilla about get the KDE filepicker support in Firefox.. Finally, with Firefox 64 this is possible! Looking at the release post of Plasma 5.15 that explain how to do it.. In my case in Debian Sid to get the support I need to have Firefox 64 or more new version.

I'm using Firefox Quantum 60.4.0esr (64-bit) on my CentOS 7 Linux system with KDE 4.9 desktop environment. From time to time I'm no more able to scroll the Firefox window with the mouse wheel. I need to change the focus to another window and come back to Firefox to reactivate a proper scrolling, or just minimize and reopen the Firefox window.

Jan 25, 2013 · I've just started making use of activities in kde but prefer firefox over the kde browsers. One thing missing though is proper suppoert for firefox profiles so I've put togeter a quick bash script and a .desktop file to take care of it.
