Oct 19, 2014 · Firefox reports that "JRE Plugin is missing", and gives an option to install. When I press "install" I get that "plugin was not installed", and an option for manual install, which only takes me to a Java support page that sends me into an eternal loop of other support pages. Java installer/verifier reports that Java 8 is installed correctly.
