Oct 31, 2010 · I know that Final Cut Express doesn't edit native 24 fps footage. However, I was wondering what is going on when I take 24 fps footage and convert it to AIC for import into FCE. This is my normal workflow, no matter what frame rate I shot the footage in. It just so happens that my last project was shot at 24 fps.

Oct 01, 2006 · Final Cut Express 3.5 imported and edited the footage flawlessly. Now we ended up just exporting for the web (and it looks awesome). However, *I've heard* where final cut express 3.5 falls short is its ability to preserve 24p. aka if you need to have the 24p preserved throughout your workflow and then say.. printed to film.
