Windows 8.1 didn't support 2 CPUs until the Pro edition, so I would imagine that it will be the same with Windows 10. ... not for a desktop computer, unless you are doing some kind of CPU intense video editing, or using it for CAD.

In a multi-threaded application, a single CPU can handle multiple threads. I do not understand this. Does the CPU handle one thread at a time if there is only one CPU?
